Dra. Joana Santos
Medical Director, Aesthetic, Integrative and Hormonal Medicine, Plastic Surgery Assistance – Longevity
Dr. Joana Santos is the Medical Director of the Longevity Clinics in Portugal. She graduated in Medicine in 2009 and completed a Master’s Degree in Aesthetic and Anti-Ageing Medicine at the University of Córdoba in 2014.
Since 2017 she has worked with a Plastic Surgery team as an Operating Theatre Assistant, collaborating in aesthetic and reconstructive procedures.
She specialises in botulinum toxin, dermal fillers, biostimulators, PDO threads, mesotherapy, medical microneedling, PRP and chemical peels, and also works with technologies such as Ultraformer MPT and Chrome Laser.
In hormonal health she performs comprehensive evaluations including laboratory studies, lifestyle optimisation, supplementation and personalised hormone therapies.
Prof. André Dourado
Head of Integrative Longevity
Professor André Dourado is a specialist in Natural and Integrative Medicine, focusing on longevity, integrative oncology and mind-body interactions (PNI). He holds a degree in Biology from the University of Porto and in Natural Medicine from the University of Santiago de Compostela, and later completed advanced training in Naturopathy, Osteopathy, Psychoneuroimmunology, Integrative Nutrition and complementary therapies.
With more than twenty years of clinical, teaching and speaking experience, he works mainly in integrative longevity, digestive health, emotional balance and support for people with oncological conditions.
He is the author of the book Practical Guide to Natural Medicine and an international speaker. Recognised for his scientific rigour, clarity and deeply human perspective, he integrates modern scientific evidence with the best practices of integrative health to promote a longer, healthier and more purposeful life.
Ricardo Rosa
Coordinator of Integrative Therapies, Physiotherapist and Osteopath – Longevity
Ricardo Rosa is the Coordinator of Integrative Therapies and a Physiotherapist and Osteopath at Longevity Health & Wellness Hotel Alvor. Internationally recognised by Condé Nast Traveller as one of the 19 best therapists in the world, he stands out for his technical precision and his ability to quickly identify the origin of musculoskeletal dysfunctions.
He holds a degree in Physiotherapy and advanced training in Osteopathy from the Escuela de Osteopatía de Madrid, having developed a path of continuous specialisation in rehabilitation, manual therapy, biomechanics and functional correction.
At Longevity he ensures that each client, whether local, regular or a hotel guest, receives integrative care aligned with the brand’s standards of excellence.
Renata Garutti
Physiotherapist and Wellness Manager – Longevity
Renata Garutti is a Physiotherapist who graduated in Brazil in 2004. Over more than twenty years she has built a career dedicated to functional rehabilitation, wellbeing and integrative therapies. She completed postgraduate studies in Women’s Health, Cardiorespiratory Physiotherapy and Dermato-Functional Physiotherapy.
Between 2011 and 2017 she lived in Ireland, where she refined her skills in advanced aesthetic technologies and complementary therapies. After moving to Portugal, she dedicated herself entirely to the wellness field and joined the Longevity team in 2022.
She currently serves as Wellness Manager, aligning clinical experience with an organisational vision focused on quality, consistency and attention to detail, ensuring an integrated therapeutic experience for clinic clients, regular clients and hotel guests.
Melanie Navalhas
Dietitian and Head of Health and Wellness Programmes – Longevity
Melanie Navalhas is a Dietitian and Head of Health and Wellness Programmes at Longevity. She holds a degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of the Algarve and has training in Sports Nutrition from FC Barcelona and Women’s Nutrition from the Portuguese Association of Nutritionists.
With a decade of professional experience, she develops personalised nutritional strategies based on scientific evidence and adapted to real life. She also leads detox and nutritional literacy workshops, promoting conscious and sustainable choices.
Her work combines technical rigour, empathy and motivation, contributing significantly to lifestyle transformation and overall wellbeing.
Mara Rohrborn
Head Nurse – Longevity
Mara Rohrborn is the Head Nurse at Longevity and ensures safe and personalised nursing care. She graduated in Nursing in Germany in 2005 and moved to Portugal in 2009, where she specialised in health management, digestive endoscopy and anaesthesiology.
In 2021 she completed a specialisation in Colon Hydrotherapy with the Bundesverbandes für Darmgesundheits und Colon-Hydro-Therapie. She is recognised for her attention to detail, warm communication and professional ethics.
Nuno Amaral
Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor – Longevity
Nuno Amaral is a Personal Trainer and Pilates Instructor who promotes functional movement, efficient posture and balanced physical performance. Trained at Fitness Academy, he holds specialisations in Pilates Matwork, Functional Mobility, Stick Mobility, Integrative Rehab & Strength and Kettlebell Movement.
He creates personalised programmes that improve strength, mobility and body awareness, supporting local clients, regular clients and hotel guests in individual sessions and integrated programmes.
Catarina Silva
Osteopath, Specialist in Integrative Therapies – Longevity
Catarina Silva has been part of the Longevity team since 2018 and is recognised for her human, precise and integrative clinical practice. She holds a degree in Osteopathy and more than a decade of experience, combining scientific knowledge with therapeutic sensitivity.
She is currently deepening her studies in Psychoneuroimmunology and completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Therapeutic Training. She works with osteopathy, craniosacral therapy and lymphatic drainage, creating fully personalised sessions.
Her focus is on treating causes rather than symptoms, helping clients recover mobility, comfort and balance.
Neida
Integrative Mental Health Therapist – Longevity
Neida is a therapist specialised in integrative mental health, combining science, contemplative practices and personal development. She holds international training in Coaching and High Performance Coaching and professional training in Anxiety and Stress Disorders from Harvard Medical School.
She is a meditation and pranayama teacher at Kashish Yoga School, India, and integrates mindfulness practices, emotional regulation, Reiki, Akashic Records and chakra balancing.
Founder of Neida Holistic Yoga School & Retreats and certified Yoga Alliance teacher (E-RYT 200, YACEP), she has more than twenty years of experience in personal and spiritual development.
At Longevity, Neida provides deep and personalised interventions to strengthen mental health, restore emotional balance and cultivate long-lasting wellbeing.
